Composite Bonding

Minimally invasive reshaping for chips and edges.

Composite bonding sculpts tooth-coloured resin directly onto the tooth to repair chips, close small gaps and refine edges — usually in a single visit, usually with no drilling at all. It has become the quiet favourite of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry: reversible, repairable and remarkably natural when layered by a careful clinician.

01

Plan the shapes

The edges, proportions and shade are agreed first — sometimes with a quick direct mock-up so you can see the intended result before treatment.

02

Layer by hand

The resin is built in fine layers, each shaped and cured, following the natural texture and translucency of enamel.

03

Polish to life

The final surface is polished to a natural lustre and checked against your bite — the difference between good and average bonding lives in this step.

Good to know

Bonding can stain and chip over years of real life; it is easily refreshed or repaired, which is part of its appeal. For larger changes across many teeth, veneers or alignment may serve better — an honest consultation weighs those openly.
